About Us:
Two Students One Vision.

Founded by two passionate high school students, Formosa Blue was born from a shared concern about ocean pollution and a determination to make a difference.

Initially, it started as a school science project. But as the project got improved and redesigned, it evolved into an ambitious initiative to develop autonomous AI driven technology that can help clean the environment we live in, allowing sustainable growth for everyone.

Our Story

The Human Problem

You see someone litter on the road, and your instincts tell you to pick up that plastic bottle and throw it away properly. However, there's no incentive to use your own energy and time to do so, and others think the same way too. Therefore, the trash is left on the road with nobody to place it to a proper place to collect.

2 Ameteur Engineer's Solution

So what if there were no need for the lazy humans to pick up and throw away the trash? What if robots did this instead? That's why our team thought of creating an AI solar powered, self propelled trash cleaning vehicle to solve this issue. If a robot can power and steer itself with minimal help from humans, this can greatly improve the cleanliness of the streets, parks, and schools!
